How I can support you

I offer counselling and psychotherapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, self-doubt, relationship difficulties, recovery, or the impact of addiction.

Therapy offers space to explore these experiences gently, without judgement or pressure to rush.

I often work with people in caring, professional, or high-responsibility roles who are used to supporting others but rarely have space to think about their own emotional needs

My approach is gentle, reflective, and always led by your pace. I aim to offer a calm, welcoming space where you can be yourself, without hiding, pleasing, or conforming.

I am person-centred and trauma-informed. I may offer gentle exploration where it feels appropriate, and sometimes suggest grounding or creative approaches in our work together, but always with your agreement.

Anxiety, depression, low mood, and self-doubt

You may feel constantly on edge, stuck in cycles of worry, or weighed down by low mood. You might struggle with a harsh inner critic, second-guess yourself, or feel you’re never quite good enough.

Therapy can offer a space to slow things down, understand what’s been shaping these patterns, and begin to relate to yourself with more compassion.

Relationship difficulties

You may find relationships with family, friends or colleagues, confusing, draining, or difficult to trust. Perhaps you’ve learned to take responsibility for others, to keep the peace, or to put your needs last.

In therapy, we can gently explore these structures and where they come from, supporting you to develop greater clarity, boundaries, and choice in how you relate to others.

Recovery and the impact of addiction

I work with individuals in recovery who are abstinent and those affected by addiction.

You may have grown up around someone else’s drinking or drug use, or be living with the impact of a partner’s, parent’s, sibling’s, or friend’s addiction. This can leave people feeling anxious, hyper-alert, responsible for others, or unsure of their own needs.

Therapy provides the space to explore the impact of addiction, whatever your experience, alongside anything else you bring, without judgement, pressure or labels.

Begin in whatever way feels most comfortable for you.

If talking things through feels supportive, you’re welcome to book a free 20‑minute call. And if that feels like more than you want to step into right now, you can simply reach out through my contact form — no pressure, no hurry, just in your own time.

A gentle footnote

I do not offer a crisis service or work with active suicidal intent or high-risk self-harm behaviour. If you need support in any of these areas please visit the HELP NOW page.

"Therapy with Rosie was an excellent experience, it has changed so much. I would absolutely attend therapy again because of what it has done for me.”
